*PIUS NOUMENI NJAWE(1957-2010).le celebre journalist camerounais,veteran de la liberte de la presse du cameroun et du monde,est mort ,en lundi,12 juillet 2010,au court d'une accident au Virginia des Etats-Unis d'Amerique

NEJAWE,the Cameroonian dissident journalist ,who was arrested 100 times in his life time for fighting autocrats and reporting corruptions,and also spent time with his family in Bennin as exile,died in an accident in Chesapeake,Virginia,near Norfolk.The audacious and couragious journalist of Cameroon once said:
"A word can be more powerful than a weapon,and I believe that with the word."
Pius Noumeni Njawe went on:
We can build a better world and make happier people.So why give up while duty still calls?
He noted that:
"to have the privilege of writing taken away from you overnight feels like being a victim of a crime...I immediately started to think about what my long days would be like in a cell I was sharing with more than 150 detainees...if I could not write,"
And if you tell a journalist not to write,the first and most thing heshe will do is picking up the pen and write.That is what Njawe did:
"So I decided to defy governer's ban by stepping up my bi-weekly column,LE BLOC-NOTES DU BAGNARD/THE CONVICT'S NOTEBOOK,in my newspaper,LE MESSAGER/THE MESSENGER.
NEJAWE,"THE AFRICAN MOST COURAGEOUS FIGHTER FOR PRESS FREEDOM",also says:
"No one will silence me,except the Lord,before I achieve what I consider as a mission in my native country[Cameroon],in Africa and why not in the world.
In the month of July,on this Occasion of The Journalist's death,South Africa world Cup 2010,And Pablo neruda's birthday, we remember them and salute them all.
